Job Description: Guardian Healthcare has exceptional opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses to work at our clients work release facilities in Birmingham, AL. These are assignments working full time for 4-6 weeks.
Available shifts: 10pm-7am (rotating weekends). Wed-Sunday/Wed-Friday or any shift on weekends.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

-Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN/LVN) must have a minimum of 6 months general nursing experience. Mental Health and LTC Nursing experience is a plus!

-Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN/LVN) must possess a current, non-restrictive license in Alabama or Compact License.
-Must pass AL DOC background
-Current CPR card from the American Heart Association
-TB clearance
-Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN/LVN) must provide documentation of MMR, Hep B and Hep C, TDAP, Varicella and most recent FLU shot
-Pass background check and drug screen
-Comfortable working in a secure lock down facility
-Willing to float to different units.

**Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) will not be considered unless you have all requirements listed above**
